The Alpine A390 will be unveiled in Dieppe

A true revolution for the brand with the arrow A, the 100% electric SUV A390 will be presented in the historical cradle of the manufacturer.

Founded in 1955 by Jean Rédélé, Alpine quickly established itself as a reference in the world of sports cars. With its iconic model A110, the French brand made history in rallying, notably with its victory in the World Rally Championship in 1973. After a period of absence, Alpine was reborn in 2017 with a new version of the berlinette, combining the heritage of the past with modern technology. Bolstered by this success, the brand is now pursuing its expansion with an ambitious strategy focused on electrification and the Dream Garage, a range of three visionary models.

It is in this context that Alpine is preparing for a major revolution, its first SUV Alpine A390. Announced as a 100% electric fastback sports model, this vehicle represents a true break with the traditional image of the brand. Following the presentation of the showcar A390_β at the Paris Motor Show in October 2024, the anticipation surrounding this vehicle is at an all-time high.

Return to the roots for the Alpine of the future

Alpine has confirmed that the world premiere of the A390 will take place on May 27, 2025, in Dieppe, the historical cradle of the brand and future production site for this model at the Manufacture Alpine Dieppe Jean Rédélé. This strategic date will precede a major Alpine gathering organized to celebrate the brand’s 70th anniversary, from May 30 to June 1. The A390 does not just redefine sportiness; it aims to combine electric performance, bold design, and cutting-edge technology in a family-friendly 5-seater vehicle.

By choosing Dieppe for this launch, Alpine reaffirms its attachment to its roots while projecting itself into the future. This model, the second element of the Dream Garage after the A290, confirms the brand’s commitment to reinventing sports mobility while respecting environmental challenges.

The appointment is therefore set for May 27, 2025, in Dieppe. The Alpine A390 will mark a historic turning point for the French brand and for the future of electric sports cars.
