All the Prices and Delivery Dates of the New Tesla Model Y in France

Tesla has decided to accelerate and is opening orders in France for the three base versions of the new Model Y.

Tesla is launching three new versions of the Model Y in France with the determination of a conqueror… or the energy of desperation, it’s up for debate. The aptly named launch series “Launch Series” is disappearing from the catalog. These models offer ranges between 500 and 622 kilometers in WLTP cycle. Introducing the new arrivals.

Model Y Propulsion

Available from 44,990 euros excluding an ecological bonus of 2,000 to 4,000 euros, this version is the entry-level model and naturally the most demanded. Equipped with a single motor on the rear axle, it offers a range of 500 km WLTP. Performance remains respectable with a 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.

Model Y Long Range Propulsion

Priced at 46,990 euros, thus eligible for the Bonus, this intermediate variant is designed for long distances, boasting a record range of 622 km WLTP. It manages to be quicker than the Propulsion with a 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. The additional 122 km of range for only 2,000 euros more makes it the most interesting version in our eyes. Its performance is that of a very good sports car from the early 2000s, now with real comfort.

Model Y Long Range All-Wheel Drive

At the top of the range, this model is offered at 52,990 euros. Thanks to its dual motor (front and rear) transmission, it guarantees better traction and a breathtaking acceleration with just 4.8 seconds to reach 100 km/h. The range is set at 586 km WLTP. The most demanding drivers in terms of performance and versatility will be delighted, but if they are not in a hurry, they will certainly wait for the Performance version which will arrive in a few months.

Delivery schedules vary by version. The Long Range All-Wheel Drive version will be available in March 2025, ahead of the other models. This is explained by its role as the base for the “Launch Series,” intended to mark the launch of this new range. The Propulsion and Long Range Propulsion versions are expected in June 2025. This staggered timeline allows Tesla to better organize its production and meet the different expectations of customers.

Despite this well-established strategy, Tesla must quickly turn things around after several recent financial setbacks. The goal is clear: boost sales to stabilize its accounts. It remains to be seen whether the French public will respond to this new commercial offensive.
