The Volkswagen ID.4 and ID.5 Offer More for the Same Price

Volkswagen enriches the offerings of the ID.4 and ID.5 models with a new “Life” trim, without increasing prices.

Volkswagen France continues the development of its 100% electric range by introducing a new entry-level trim called ‘Life’ for the ID.4 and ID.5 models. This trim replaces the old ‘ID.’ trim while maintaining the same price, but with a more comprehensive standard equipment. It represents a customer advantage estimated at €5,660.

The ‘Life’ trim now includes several additional standard features: a mixed ArtVelours upholstery, heated seats, dual-zone climate control, a rearview camera, an intelligent parking system, integrated navigation, and wireless smartphone charging.

The ID.4 ‘Life’ is offered with a 170 hp motor and a net 52 kWh battery, starting at €37,500 (after ecological bonus). The ID.5 Pro 286 ‘Life’, with 286 hp and a net 77 kWh, starts at €50,500.

Volkswagen also retains its ‘Life Max’ trim, which remains the most popular with around 80% of sales. For €1,000 more than the ‘Life’ trim, it adds Matrix LED headlights, an electric trunk, 19-inch wheels, and floor mats. It offers a customer advantage of €2,630 on the ID.4.

Finally, a new ‘Style Max’ options package, offered at €2,000, complements the offer. It includes black aesthetic elements (roof, wheels, badging), a panoramic roof, and a Top Sport interior with electric and massage sport seats. It represents a customer advantage of €2,865 and allows the ID.4 to remain eligible for the ecological bonus.
