MG has understood that hybrid vehicles are in demand right now and is launching a new version of its family SUV, named MG EHS Hybrid+.
This version of the MG EHS is based on a full-hybrid powertrain and aims to offer better performance, reduced consumption, and increased comfort. Orders open on June 10, 2025. The starting price is set at 32,490 euros. The vehicle comes with a 7-year or 150,000 km warranty.
The MG EHS Hybrid+ uses a 1.5 turbo petrol engine with 143 hp (105 kW), paired with an electric motor producing 198 hp (146 kW). The total combined output is 224 hp (165 kW). The system also includes a generator and a high voltage NMC battery of 1.83 kWh. This powertrain allows for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. The 2-speed automatic transmission is derived from the plug-in hybrid version.
In terms of fuel consumption, the MG EHS Hybrid+ has an average of 5.5 L/100 km in the combined WLTP cycle. CO₂ emissions are measured at 126 g/km, which results in a small tax penalty of 330 euros.
