Genesis accelerates its development in Europe with a strategic expansion announced today at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
On the occasion of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Genesis Motor Europe has officially announced a significant phase of expansion in the European market. The premium Korean brand will extend its operations to four new countries: France, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands. First customer deliveries are expected as early as the beginning of 2026.
This expansion strengthens Genesis’s already established presence in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Since its European launch in 2021, the brand has distinguished itself with its premium positioning, combining bold design, technological innovation, and a customer-centric approach, true to the Korean philosophy of hospitality, “son-nim”.
“This is our most significant expansion since arriving in Europe,” said Xavier Martinet, General Director of Genesis Motor Europe. “This development marks a new strategic phase of sustainable growth, in line with our ambition in the premium and sports automotive universe.”

Genesis will offer its three recently updated 100% electric models in these new markets: the GV60, a luxury compact SUV and the brand’s first dedicated electric model; the Electrified GV70, a high-end SUV combining performance and comfort; and the Electrified G80, an elegant sedan with optimized range. All benefit from the latest advances in battery and onboard technologies.
This announcement coincides with Genesis Magma Racing’s first participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, alongside IDEC Sport, marking a symbolic milestone in the brand’s commitment to motorsport. With promising results in the European Le Mans Series, the team is preparing to officially enter the World Endurance Championship (WEC) in 2026 with the hypercar GMR-001.
With this dual commercial and sporting offensive, Genesis is affirming its ambitions on the European continent, betting on controlled, innovative growth that is firmly focused on electrification.
