Latest Tesla Update: An Intelligent Passenger and Surprises

In the latest Tesla update code 2025.20, Grok is becoming increasingly present, navigation is becoming more energy-efficient, and a three-row Model Y is in the works.

The latest software update from Tesla, version 2025.20, reveals several major new features. Among them: advancements in Grok integration, the intelligent voice assistant developed with xAI, new suggestions for energy savings during trips, and confirmation of a three-row Model Y.

Tesla continues its efforts to integrate in-house artificial intelligence into its vehicles. Grok, developed with Elon Musk’s xAI, is a voice assistant designed to interact more naturally with drivers. With this update, Tesla adds a range of personalities to Grok, aimed at tailoring the tone and style of responses based on user preferences.

Among these profiles, for example, is a language tutor to assist with learning languages, a classic assistant for practical requests, a therapist to provide emotional support or breathing exercises, and a meditative personality focused on calmness and relaxation. Some versions are more original, such as a romantic version, another more provocative, or even a humorous and quirky version.

There are also modes dedicated to children, featuring stories and question-and-answer games. The source code also contains icons associated with each profile, although their significance is sometimes difficult to guess without the name.

Although the official launch date is not yet known, these additions indicate that Tesla is preparing to make Grok available soon. However, this feature may be limited to newer models equipped with AMD hardware, as older Intel models are not expected to be compatible at launch.

A more intelligent and economical navigation

Tesla is also introducing a new energy-saving feature. The navigation system, already known for its accuracy, is further improved with suggestions based on actual driving habits. When a trip is planned, the vehicle can now recommend reducing speed in certain areas, explaining how much energy this would save until the destination.

Finally, the update code reveals the presence of a three-row Model Y. Although it was initially announced for the Chinese market, its mention in the firmware suggests that it could be marketed in other countries, including France. Production could start very soon, according to the latest information.

With this update, Tesla continues to evolve its ecosystem, combining artificial intelligence, energy efficiency, and diversification of its vehicle range.
