Grid and TV Schedule for the British F1 Grand Prix

In a tense F1 qualifying session at Silverstone, Max Verstappen showcased his talent once again by extracting much more than what his Red Bull has to offer. The Dutchman managed to chip away precious milliseconds that make the difference to secure pole position for the British Grand Prix, just ahead of an impressive Oscar Piastri. The Australian, championship leader, continues to shine with a McLaren that is proving formidable on its home turf.

Lando Norris, on the other hand, may have a few regrets. At home, the Brit made a slight error on his final attempt, preventing him from securing the front row. He will start third, just ahead of George Russell. The Mercedes driver, who achieved pole position here last year, was unable to replicate the feat but remains well-positioned.

In fifth, Lewis Hamilton did not convert his good pace into an optimal result. The seven-time world champion will need to work hard to reach the podium for the thirteenth time in a row at Silverstone, a circuit that has served him well. Next to him, Charles Leclerc completes the third row, in a weekend that has so far been dominated by his Ferrari teammate.

The surprise performance of the day belongs to Pierre Gasly. Struggling during free practice, the Alpine driver turned the tide and capitalized on the penalties of Kimi Antonelli and Oliver Bearman to secure eighth place on the grid.

These penalties drop Antonelli to 18th place and allow Esteban Ocon (14th) and Isack Hadjar (12th) to gain a position. Finally, Franco Colapinto brings up the rear after going off track in Q1. The Argentine rookie will line up at the back alongside Bearman, Stroll, and the two Sauber drivers Bortoleto and Hülkenberg.
