Aston Martin unveils the Vantage S, a new high-performance variant of its iconic front-engine sports car.

Officially unveiled on July 9 in Gaydon, the Vantage S positions itself as the most dynamic and sharpest model in the range, with its first public appearance scheduled for this weekend at the 2025 Festival of Speed in Goodwood.

Under the hood, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 now produces 680 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, achieving a 0 to 100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds. This power is accompanied by multiple technical upgrades: specific adjustments to the intake system, recalibrated throttle for better responsiveness, and improvements to the Launch Control system. All this maintains a top speed of 325 km/h.

Aston Martin engineers have also refined the dynamic behavior with reconfigured Bilstein DTX adaptive suspensions and optimized chassis geometry. The rear subframe is now mounted directly to the body, enhancing precision, agility, and comfort without compromising stability.

Sporty at Heart

The design features distinctive elements intended for carbon fiber additions, from front to back, including a prominent full-width rear wing. The ensemble generates 111 kg of aerodynamic downforce at high speeds, enhancing road holding without sacrificing aesthetics.

The interior is equally impressive. Upholstery combining leather and Alcantara, satin carbon fiber inserts, “S” logos embroidered with over 2,400 stitches, and anodized red or silver details give this Vantage S a sporty, luxurious, and coherent style. An “Inspire Sport” option offers semi-aniline leathers and an exclusive perforated chevron pattern.

Part of the “S” lineage of the brand, from the DB3S of 1953 to the formidable V12 Vantage S, the Vantage S represents a new step in evolution. Available now for order as a coupe or roadster, the first deliveries are expected by the end of 2025. In terms of pricing, the Vantage S is expected to retail in France around 240,000 euros in Europe, with potential increases based on customization. It will, of course, be subject to the maximum tax of 70,000 Euros.
