Even in winter conditions at -7°C, it outperforms traditional LFP batteries by nearly 14%.
The 70 kWh battery powers an electric motor of 161 hp (120 kW), exclusively in rear-wheel drive. This configuration promises balanced performance for everyday use, with the added benefit of more than enough range for the majority of trips.
Even the giant BYD is lagging behind
In comparison, the BYD Dolphin, a top-selling Chinese model in the segment, offers LFP batteries ranging from 44.9 to 60.5 kWh and a maximum range of 520 km. However, the MG 4 boasts larger dimensions, superior range… and a similar price. A remarkable achievement that could tip the market.
