This is a project as flavorful as it is unusual, straight out of Elon Musk’s imagination. The Tesla Supercharger Diner in Los Angeles has finally opened its doors.

And good news: we now know the price of the Tesla Burger! Expect to pay $13.50 for this all-American sandwich, made with a Brandt prime beef patty, melty cheese, lettuce, caramelized onions, pickles, and “Electric Sauce,” all served in a brioche bun. You can add bacon, an organic egg, or even Wagyu beef chili to spice things up.

But the Tesla Diner is more than just a simple fast food joint. It’s a true homage to the diners of the 1950s, with a futuristic twist. It took seven years for this idea, born in 2018, to come to fruition, but the wait was worth it: 80 charging stations, two giant screens for outdoor movies, 24/7 service, and an enticing menu based on local products. And the cherry on top, you don’t need to own a Tesla to enjoy it.

The official inauguration took place at precisely 4:20 PM, a deliberate nod to “420,” Elon Musk’s favorite number frequently used in his tweets and announcements as a secret code among insiders.

The event attracted an enthusiastic crowd, with some people waiting over 13 hours to be among the first. The place aims to be both a trendy California hangout and an ultra-effective branding tool for Tesla, blending experiential marketing, vintage merchandising, and a perfectly calibrated “Muskian” vibe.
