F1 returns this weekend in Belgium after a three-week break. The thirteenth round of the 2025 season, the Belgian Grand Prix takes place on one of the most iconic circuits on the calendar.

The previous race at Silverstone had its share of surprises, most notably Nico Hülkenberg’s very first podium after 239 Grand Prix starts, symbolizing a clear resurgence for Sauber thanks to its recent technical upgrades. The Ferraris will also be in the spotlight, as the Scuderia introduces a new aerodynamic package with a rethought rear end for the first time. The goal: to close the gap with McLaren, which dominated both Spielberg and Silverstone.

Red Bull will undergo a small revolution with the arrival of Laurent Mekies at the helm, replacing Christian Horner, who was ousted after the last race. As for the feeder formulas, F2 and F3 will also be on track for an intense lead-in to Hungary.

But beyond the immediate stakes, the Belgian Grand Prix is especially a crucial chapter in the history of F1. Held for the first time in 1950, it is one of the seven founding Grands Prix of the World Championship. The Spa-Francorchamps circuit, set in the heart of the Ardennes, was long known for its length (up to 14 km) and its danger, before its modern version of 7 km and 4 small meters retained its spectacular character, notably with the legendary sequences of Eau Rouge and Raidillon.
