A Cinema Session in the CANAL+ Truck, Interested?

After its launch at the Cannes Film Festival, the mobile cinema CinéMo continues its journey to introduce the 7th art to everyone.

Initiated by the CANAL+ and Art Explora Foundations, this unique project of the Cinema Truck offers free and accessible screenings with a clear aim: to bring the 7th art closer to the most remote audiences.

The CinéMo can accommodate 72 spectators and offers projection quality that meets CNC standards, as well as immersive 7.1 sound. Its programming is crafted by a jury composed of cinema professionals and civil society figures, presenting bold and committed films. Educational workshops, mediation tools, and discussions after screenings complement the experience to raise awareness of images and the professions of cinema among all audiences.

The Cinema, from Cannes to Dammartin-en-Goële

Inaugurated on May 17 in Cannes, in the heart of the La Bocca district, CinéMo showcased a selection of films from the STUDIOCANAL catalog, known for the richness and diversity of its works, during the festival. Following this first phase, the mobile cinema began a regional tour in Île-de-France on June 26 that will conclude on October 11, 2025.

For 16 weeks, CinéMo travels through Val-d’Oise, Seine-et-Marne, and Yvelines, targeting villages with fewer than 3,000 inhabitants, peri-urban areas, priority neighborhoods, and even some campsites as part of the “Cultural Summer” initiative. The aim is to provide everyone with a quality cinematic experience, create moments of exchange, and share the passion for cinema where it is not always accessible.

Designed by the cabinet Premices and Co, specialized in eco-design and circular economy, CinéMo illustrates the commitment of the CANAL+ and Art Explora Foundations to democratize culture and introduce art and experimental cinema to a broad audience. With this traveling project, each screening becomes a cultural meeting point and a moment of sharing, bringing together young and old around significant works and enriching discussions.
