McLaren unveils the 750S JC96, a limited edition designed exclusively for the Japanese market.
Production will be limited to 61 units, referencing McLaren F1 GTR number 61, which won the drivers’ championship of the All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship (JGTC) in 1996. This is the first time the brand has developed a model solely for Japan.

The JC96 pays tribute to the F1 GTRs entered by Team Goh, which succeeded thanks to the duo John Neilsen – David Brabham. This connection to racing is reflected in both the design and engineering. Available as a coupe or Spider, the model marks the introduction of the MSO High Downforce Kit (HDK) on a McLaren convertible. This aerodynamic package, derived from racing, increases downforce by up to 10% through a redesigned splitter, a raised active wing, and specific underbody elements.

The JC96 also introduces new ultra-lightweight “Delta” forged wheels with 15 spokes, inspired by the F1 GTR Longtail. The cabin captures the spirit of competition with golden pedals and switches, along with exclusive JC96 markings. The interior, entirely in Alcantara, can be offered in several color combinations, with numerous customization possibilities through McLaren Special Operations (MSO).

Outside, customers can choose from the entire 750S palette or order a unique color through MSO. Painted details on the splitter, mirrors, and wing are offered in Memphis Red, Titanium Silver, Ice White, or Graphite Grey. Four privileged clients will benefit from an exclusive “JC96 Tribute Livery,” hand-painted by MSO, directly inspired by the “Tiger Stripe” pattern in Rocket Pink and Tarmac Grey of the 1996 F1 GTRs.
Under the hood, the JC96 retains the essentials of the 750S: a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 delivering 750 hp, coupled with a lightweight carbon fiber structure, ensuring agility and performance. Pirelli P ZERO, Corsa, or Trofeo R tires, developed in partnership with McLaren, complete the offering.
